For more than 20 years, Brenan has been a visionary leader in the human resources field. After graduating from the University of California, Irvine, Brenan began his career in the corporate HR and recruiting world, building high-performance teams and solutions in some of the most respected companies in America.
Brenan founded his first company, Bright Talent, Inc. (www.brighttalent.com) in 2008 to provide outsourced HR consulting and recruiting services for organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to fast-growing startups. He founded Bright Experience as a subsidiary in 2020 to meet what he saw as a rapidly growing demand for higher-touch, more personalized HR communications in an increasingly under-staffed and tech-driven world.
As President of Bright Experience, Brenan leads a top-notch engagement team that is obsessed with getting it right for every client. Each Bright Experience Associate provides a level of service in employee and candidate engagement that is both seamless and personal, helping client companies attract and retain the best and brightest people in their organizations.
Prior to founding his businesses, Brenan served as Director of Recruiting at The Gallup Organization, where he sparked his passion for data and relationship-driven HR strategies. He also served as Manager of Global Talent Acquisition for Edwards Lifesciences and Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition for Black and Decker.
Brenan is a sought-after subject matter expert who is regularly invited to speak at HR events and in-house leadership teams at Fortune 500 clients. He also holds leadership roles in the HR community, including: a Founding Board Member of the Talent Acquisition Group of San Diego (TAGSD), a Member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), a Member of Convene CEO Peer Advisory Group and he is also the Leadership Development Ministry Elder at Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
